Great Mell Fell

Great Mell Fell is a distinct, wooded outlier that stands apart from the main Eastern Fells. The ascent is short and relatively gentle, leading you through ancient, wind-sculpted birch trees to a surprisingly expansive summit plateau with exceptional views of Blencathra and the northern ridges.
