About Creag Each
Rising steeply above the southern shores of Loch Earn, this rugged Graham offers a swift, punchy ascent from near St. Fillans. Known as the 'Horse's Crag', its heathery slopes and rocky outcrops provide a grandstand view of Ben Vorlich and Stùc a' Chroin across the water. It is a quiet, rewarding alternative to the busier neighbouring Munros.

Did You Know?
- •The name translates from Scottish Gaelic as 'Horse’s Crag', likely a reference to the hill's craggy profile or historical grazing use in the glens below.
- •The summit trig pillar serves as an excellent vantage point for surveying the entire length of Loch Earn and the high peaks of the Lawers range to the north.
- •Hillwalkers frequently pair this peak with the neighbouring Graham, Meall na Fearna, though the undulating ridge between them is notorious for its pathless terrain and deep peat hags.
- •The steep northern flank provides such an efficient cardiovascular workout that by the time you reach the top, you will likely have forgiven the fact that the 'Horse's Crag' does not actually offer a pony ride to the summit.
