TrailTrack is built by a small team of three — in our spare time, on evenings and weekends, because we genuinely love the outdoors and wanted something better for tracking fell walks in the UK.
There's no corporate backing, no investor money, and no grand business plan. Just three walkers with laptops and a healthy obsession with mountains.
We will never ask you for money. TrailTrack will always have a free tier. But if TrailTrack has saved you from getting lost, helped you tick off a Munro, or just made your hiking life a little more organised — and you feel like being incredibly kind — we do have a modest beer fund that could always use some reinforcements.
The honest truth: every pint donated goes directly into keeping three tired developers motivated enough to add that next feature you asked for. Results may vary. We take no responsibility for the quality of the hills we recommend after our third beer.
