Scar Lathing

Overlooking the deep trench of Wasdale, this Birkett is a rocky satellite shoulder of Middle Fell. Though modest in height, its position offers a front-row seat to the Scafell range across the valley. The terrain is typical of the western fells: steep, grassy slopes punctuated by small crags and bracken-covered banks.
