About Shill Moor
Rising steeply above the Coquet Valley near Alwinton, this grassy Cheviot dome offers a direct, lung-bursting ascent. The summit is a fine vantage point for surveying the winding Usway Burn and the high Border Ridge to the north. It’s a characterful Hump that serves as a sentinel to the deeper hills.
