Carn Lochan na Bearta

This remote Dodd rises above the wild country of Wester Ross, positioned between Loch Broom and the Fannichs. The summit at 562 metres offers a substantial ascent through rough, pathless terrain typical of the northwest Highlands. The hill's Gaelic name references a loch associated with a gap or pass, though the landscape here is better known for its isolation than easy passage.
