Wintercleuch Fell

Standing at 550 metres in the Lowther Hills, this rounded summit forms part of the grassy upland plateau characteristic of this corner of southern Scotland. The terrain is typical moorland walking—generally straightforward underfoot but exposed in poor weather. Its modest height belies the sense of spaciousness found across these border hills.
