Did You Know?

  • The name Rushton likely refers to a local land-owning family from the Blackburn area, common in historical records of the 18th and 19th centuries.
  • The summit provides an excellent vantage point to view the Jubilee Tower on nearby Darwen Hill, a landmark built to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
