Foal Burn Head

Rising to 510 metres in the Moffat Hills, this grassy summit takes its name from the burn that drains its eastern slopes. A modest Donald Dewey often climbed in combination with higher neighbours, it offers a quiet alternative to the busier ridges further north. The terrain is typical Southern Upland moorland, pathless but navigable.
