About Coremachy
Rising to 543 metres above Glen Clova, this Dodd sits on the southern flanks of the Angus Glens. The summit offers a useful vantage point over the upper reaches of the glen, with the higher Munros of the White Mounth visible to the northwest. Pathless terrain and heather moorland characterise the approach.

Did You Know?
- •The name Coremachy derives from Gaelic 'Coire Mheadhach', meaning 'middle corrie', likely referring to its position between neighbouring glacial hollows in the Glen Clova landscape.
- •The hill stands at the southern edge of the Angus Glens, an area where the relatively gentle southern approaches contrast sharply with the dramatic northern corries and cliffs that characterise the higher Munros further into the range.
