Col-bheinn

Rising to 542 metres in the far north of mainland Scotland, this modest summit sits in remote country north of Helmsdale. The Gaelic name translates as 'rounded hill', a fitting description of its character. Classified as both a Dodd and a Tump, it offers genuine solitude in a landscape more often associated with deer stalking than busy footpaths.
