How many Furths are there and where are they?

There are 34 Furths in total: 15 in Wales (all in Snowdonia), 6 in England (all in the Lake District), and 13 in Ireland (mainly in the MacGillycuddy's Reeks and Galtee Mountains). They're all mountains over 3000 feet outside Scotland that would qualify as Munros if they were north of the border.

How long does it take to complete all the Furths?

It depends on how you approach it, but the Furths are much more achievable than the 282 Munros. You could complete them in a few dedicated trips — a long weekend in Snowdonia, a day or two in the Lakes, and a week in Ireland should cover them all if conditions are good.

Are the Furths harder than the Munros?
