Garbh-mheall Mor

Rising to 594 metres in the remote country between Loch Ericht and Glen Tromie, this grassy summit offers a quieter alternative to the neighbouring Munros. The name translates from Gaelic as 'big rough hill', a straightforward description of its rough moorland flanks and broad, undulating top. A Dodd and Tump, it rewards the effort with genuine solitude.
