Ben More Assynt

Tucked away behind the bulk of Conival, Sutherland's highest peak is a rugged, remote Munro. It trades the dramatic sandstone monoliths of West Assynt for a chaotic landscape of shattered white quartzite. Reaching the summit involves a rough, high-level ridge walk that offers a rare perspective over the desolate interior.
