About Laployd Plantation
Situated on the eastern fringes of Dartmoor, this wooded Tump offers a quiet escape through the dense forestry of its namesake plantation. Reaching just over 319 metres, the summit is tucked away amongst the trees near the Kennick and Tottiford reservoirs, providing a sheltered, atmospheric contrast to the open moorland further west.
