Red Hill

Standing at 525 metres in Aberdeenshire's agricultural heartland, this modest Dodd occupies rolling farmland west of Inverurie. The hill takes its name from the colour of the local soil rather than any dramatic geological feature. A quiet summit offering views across the fertile Garioch basin to the higher Bennachie range eastward.
