Carn Dubh

Rising to 588 metres in the Monadhliath Mountains south of Loch Ness, this modest summit occupies quiet hill country between Strathdearn and the Great Glen. The terrain is typically Monadhliath: rounded, heathery, and remote. As a Dodd, it qualifies among Scotland's hills over 2000 feet with at least 30 metres of prominence.
