Craig Hill

Rising to 563 metres in the southern Highlands, this grassy summit sits north of Loch Earn and forms part of the undulating moorland between Glen Ample and Glen Vorlich. The climb is straightforward over open ground, with the reward being expansive views across the loch to Ben Vorlich and Stuc a' Chroin's distinctive profiles to the south.

• •The name derives from the Scots Gaelic 'creag', meaning 'crag' or 'rocky outcrop', though the summit itself is notably rounded and grassy – the name likely refers to rockier features on the hillside rather than the top.
• •Craig Hill is often climbed in combination with Meall na Fearna to the north, the two forming a natural horseshoe circuit from Glen Ample that takes in over 1,000 metres of ascent.
