Can you actually walk behind Henrhyd Falls like in the Batman film?

Yes, you can walk behind the waterfall and stand in the spray, peering out through the curtain of water just like in the film. The natural alcove carved into the rock face is completely accessible, though the Batcave interior itself was built in a studio.

How difficult is the walk to Henrhyd Falls?

It's about a one-mile round trip that the National Trust rates as moderate difficulty, which mostly means quite a lot of steps. The path descends through woodland and can be muddy after rain, and you'll need to climb back up those steps at the end.

Do you have to pay to visit Henrhyd Falls?

No, both parking and entry are completely free, even for non-National Trust members. There's a small car park at the start of the walk that fills up on summer weekends but is usually fine on weekdays.
