When is the best time to see High Force waterfall?

It depends on what you want to see. After prolonged rain, especially in autumn and winter, the waterfall becomes a dramatic roaring torrent. Summer offers gentler flows with less chance of rain but more crowds, while spring gives you a decent middle ground with reasonable water flow and fewer visitors.

Can you walk from High Force to Low Force waterfall?

Yes, Low Force is about a mile downstream and you can make a circular route of about four miles that takes in both waterfalls. The woodland walk between them is pleasant and doesn't require tremendous fitness.

Is High Force suitable for wheelchairs?

Not entirely. The main path has steps and uneven sections, so it's not fully wheelchair-friendly, though it is suitable for most people with reasonable mobility.
